It's Official!!!!

Well it's official, I'm getting married! Donny has proposed to me :-) Once I got off work on Sunday, Donny met me at my work. I work at Lake Las vegas, so right on the lake. He took me out on a boat ride and we swam and had lunch. It was a blast. A bag of paper towels from out lunch "flew" off the boat into the lake, so Donny asked me rich in a grave it. Then he asked me for a paper towel from that bag, once I reached in that bag, I realized, that there was something in that bag. I asked him whats in the bad, and he just played clueless. So i dug in the bag under all the paper towels, and pulled out a ring box. I turned to Donny, with a big O smile and said what is this? He took the box, got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. :-) I couldn't be happier! August 20th is the date, so mark your calendars.

Donny and I went snowboarding last week. It was a blast. We had a snow storm so there was a lot of fresh power. It was awesome. We went snowboarding at Brighton. Those slopes are so big, i felt like there was 100 different slopes to ride. It was so pretty too. But now im super sore lol. Cant wait to go back though.

Carissa, my best friend, came up to Provo to see me. It was a blast. Donny and I took her to Salt Lake City and showed her around. It was fun having my best friend in town. Only if she lived up here, would makes things really fun. Not much school would get done probably though lol.

Ice Skating Class

At Utah Valley University this semester I'm taking an Ice Skating class, yes ice skating lol. It is my favorite class. But why wouldn't it be, I never have homework. There is only about 8 girls in my class. We have all become really good friends. Our MIDTERM for the class is performing in front of a lot of people. Im so nervous for that. Our FINAL is performing in the Nut Cracker On Ice. lol thats going to be fun. We got out costumes last week. It may be my favorite class, but also the most painful, especially the week we were learning how to do jumps. Thanks mom and dad for paying THOUSANDS of dollars for me to go to college to learn to ice skate lol just kidding.

Our new addiction, LITTLE SAHARA!!!! We go about every other weekend and it is a blast. Finally got my baby up here in Utah ( meaning my quad) Donny is trying to teach my how to do wheelies.... but that isn't going so well, so i just ride on back with him while he does wheelies lol much more fun. 4th of July weekend was a blast. I got to see Carrie Underwood on Saturday. She was so amazing, and she is a fun performer. They had a good fire work show. Everyone was saying how great the fire work show is and that they are all so excited for it, lame, obviously none of them have been to Vegas and seen a Vegas firework show, because theirs was kinda lame. lol And on Friday my room mate and our friends went to the drive in movie and that was fun.

McCune Mansion

My room mate Shaya and I's friends came into town this past weekend. So we took them to Salt Lake and Showed them around Temple Square and downtown Salt Lake. It was a lot of fun. On our way back to the car we passed this really big beautiful house. We thought someone lived there, and one of our friends went running up the stairs to get a better look ( we all got nerves that someone would come out and get mad for him being on their property lol) Well turns out that this house is the first mansion to ever go up in Salt Lake City UT. Its called the McCune Mansion. The McCunes were millionaries in the 1900's. The house was built in 1901. Then the McCunes moved to LA and donated the mansion to the LDS music school. In 2007 the house was worth 22.5 million dollars, now its more. Crazy. They do weddings there now and it is sosososo beautiful. I would actually consider getting married in UT if thats where i got to have my reception lol. By the way this house is 5 stories. Some man came out and asked if he could help up then offered to take us on a tour, it was way nice of him, considering normally people pay to take this tour. This is the "lounge" room

So one night i decided to make some brownies while Andy and I watched a movie, well I sort of forgot to set the timer and burnt the brownies a little. Ok when I say a little, I mean A LOT!!! The whole brownie came out of the pan in one piece, it was so funny. Then Sunday I decided I need to cook dinner so Andy doesn't think I can't cook, that would be bad. My mama taught me better then that lol. So Sunday we made dinner and it turned out amazing, YES amazing, i CAN cook lol.

Bon Fire

Saturday night Andy and I went and had a bon fire with a bunch of our friends. It was way fun, the boys BBQed, that was funniest thing to watch ever. The O-So smart boys forgot to bring a spatula for the hamburgers. Dallin, at the smartest idea to use to pieces of wood from the pallets. Super funny. The burgers actually turned out good still lol. We had the bon fire out by Utah lake ( which totally stinks).

My room mates and I went to the BYU hockey game tonight. Our friend Mitch is on the team, so we thought we would go support him, even though it is BYU and not the U. lol. We made some signs and screamed our heads off. His parents came up to us and were like can we take your picture, so we did. We had no idea who these people were then after the game Mitch was like come meet my parents. It was the people that were asking for our picture. It was really funny. BYU got their butts kicked by the way. They played Utah State.

17 Mile Hike

Yesterday my friends and I went on a 17 mile hike. Yes 17 MILES. It was so much fun but very hard. It was really up hill. It took us 5 hours to get to the top, but once we got there, it was worth it. It was so beautiful. We saw a lot of mountain goats. We got within 5 feet of them. They were not scared of us at all. We also saw a BIG moose. That was scary, we thought it was a bear at first because it was dark and the moose was black lol. Today we are totally feeling it though. We are all so sore.

UVU Fun Nights

So we all went to the Drive in movie at the UVU campus, it was a lot of fun. We bought some pizza, sat in the bed of my truck and watched X-Men with all the other students.

Our singles ward throw a Luau for the whole Stake. That was fun. This guy was a crazy fire thrower, it was a lot of fun to watch him. He lite his leg on fire ( on purpose) lol

Utah Valley University

So i moved up to Provo UT on Tuesday. I love it here so much. I've just been waiting to finally move up here for so long. Utah Valley University is such a fun school. They are always having fun activities everyday. Everyone is very involved here. My apartments are very nice. My roommates are very nice to. I was worried about getting some crazy room mates like last time lol, but this time they are so much fun, we all get along so good. I love all my classes, well except for one, I needed to sign up for one more english, didn't matter which one, so I just signed up for one that was open, well little did I know i signed up for GEEK SQUAD. This is not just any english, we are studying a famous author named Tolkien, for those who dont know him, he is the author of Lord of The Rings lol. All my professor talked about was his fantasy world he made up lol and how we are going to be making our own fantasy world... GIVE ME A BREAK. Other then that I love it here so much. My room mates and I have meet lots of people already, lots of UVU students and lots of BYU students.

Trip to Utah

This past weekened, my family and I went up to Cedar City Utah. We were going up there for my dad's birthday, but then it turned into a mini family reunion and then a wedding lol. We took quad's and Rhino so we could go riding. That was a lot of fun. I love riding in the woods. As we were out riding, we saw a lot of rabits and deer. On the mountain there was a cave called Mammoth Cave. We climbed down in it and walked all the way through. After riding and being in the cave, we came back to get ready for my cousins wedding. The next day we woke up early and went riding again in Duck Creek. It's so beautiful there, as your can see. It felt so nice to get out of the 110 degree weather for a few days. I had an awesome birthday. My mom and sister decorated the house all twilight ( what a dream come true lol) It looked so cute. They had quotes from the movie in cute picture frames and red roses and candles, oh and even an apple for the center piece lol. I finally turned 20, about time. I had dinner and cake with the family, then went out with my friends that night. Couldn't have had a better birthday.

Harry Potter was amazing. My friends and I went to the midnight showing of the movie. Yes we even drew lightening bolts on our foreheads lol. We all went and bought Harry Potter shirts also. Family Trip

So we went to New Jersey this past week for my Pop Pop's funeral. It was very sad but it was really good to see my whole family again and spend some time with them. The funeral went very well. We had a family dinner with everyone one night and also went to Ocean City another night. Once it came time to leave, the trip went down hill. We got to the airport and had to sit around for 3 hours, then our plane was running late, then we missed our connecting flight in Atlanta, then they had no more planes leaving to Vegas so we had to find a hotel. Once we got into our hotel we ordered pizza and went to bed. Finally got on our plane the next morning and made it home. Thank goodness

May 20th, my mom, dad, sister, brother inlaw, niece, foster brother and I went to Disneyland. We had a blast. No matter how old I get, Disneyland will never get old, even though the castle seems to get smaller the older I get lol. We spent all day there. We rode all the rides, but Idiana Jones, cuz it was broke. Like usually vacation, we pigged out. It was Taz's and Kinzie's first time going. I cant wait to go back again.

Race for the Cure

Me & and my sister Angela and our Team did the Race for the Cure on Saturday. It's the run to raise money for pateints with breast cancer. It was so much fun. We were a little nervous at first becuase we did not train for our 5K run lol. But in the end we were very happy we did it.

So we took a Vacation to our cabin in Pioche. It was so much fun. For those who don't know where Pioche is, it is aout 3 hours up north from Vegas. We have had this cabin since i was born. It is so beautiful and fun up there. We took the quads and went riding all day. There is also a lake out there we always go fishing at. Pioche is our second home. We're already planning our next trip. Cant wait to go back. My friends all keep bugging me about going back.

On wednesday some of my friends and I went camping. We drove up to Logan Dale. We brought out quads. The trials up there were so much fun. We camped out right on the shore of the lake. I should have taken more pictures, but i was to busy having fun. We snuck into this old mine, that was scary but cool. We felt like we were in that scary move " Bloody Valentine". It was a good think we camped right on the water because we got so dirt after we walked throught the mines.
